INTENT engineers have Developed Exterior Components.  Several of these have been developed to support our Tier-One customers on various launch-related issues.
 

We have developed Integrated Multi-Shot, Polycarbonate Lift Gates for our customer that allows for parts integration, design flexibility and increased safety and durability.

Fuel tank protection is a critical function.  INTENT has experience in Developing Heat Shields for a gas tank protection.  Ensuring thermal compliance, structural compliance and harmonic compliance is absolutely fundamental to the performance of the part.

Our design engineers have Developed Battery Cables for customers and Supported On-Line Builds at OEM facilities.  Nothing can beat the experience of being on the line at the plant assembling one's own design...yes, we do that routinely on all our products.

INTENT Product Specialists take pride in working with OEM's on the assembly line, observing the assembly sequence, determining the GD&T required and using carry over fasteners.  We have successfully Designed, Engineered and Launched Wheel Liners for our customers.

A primary area of excellence for INTENT is in New Product Innovation.  INTENT has developed a concept for a Detroit based company to assist in easy ingress/egress out of pickup trucks.  This Patented Product is currently being evaluated for volume production.
